Sibling Love...

I found out the funniest thing this morning! Usually every morning my boy is the first to wake up - and he'll wander into his sisters room and I wake to them chatting or reading a book.

But there have been some mornings where he has wandered in there without me ever hearing him - which is odd, because I am a very light sleeper (since having kids!) and I generally hear everything - especially if they wander out of bed early in the morning.

This morning at about 5.00am, I woke to hear little footsteps and I thought "oohhh nooo! That is just ridiculously early and he should be back in bed!"... but I waited... and I heard a bit of moving around and then... nothing! So I got up a few minutes later to check out what was going on....

My darling little boy had walked down the hall a bit, gone into his sister's room, crawled up from the end of the bed and hopped in beside her - she hadn't even woken! And then he had gone back to sleep! haha

So now, I know that he's hopping in to her bed in the early morning hours - and not at 7.30am like I had thought! I thought it was pretty damn cute... and my girl didn't seem to mind... so I left him there. When they woke, I asked my daughter if she minded him hopping in to her bed and she said she didn't.

Oh the funny things kiddies do...! lol
